Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Author must upload 2 files
    1) Article header (only authors detail)
    2) Article text (without authors detail)
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Editorial Policy and Authors’ Guidelines
The Discourse (TD) serves as a launching pad for the researchers to draft their intellectual skills by publishing their research work. TD aim is to empirical research, case studies literature reviews etc with strong link with the academia.
Authors are required to submit their articles online as per the following format. 

  • Front Page
    o Title of the paper in capital letters (Center aligned, Times New Roman, Font 14 and Bold)
    o Authors’ Names in capital letters(Center aligned, Times New Roman, Font 11, followed by Institution’s affiliation and email id of the author(s))
    o Abstract (a maximum of 300 words followed by 3-6 Keywords)
  •  Introduction
    o Problem Statement
    o Research Questions
    o Objectives of the study
    o Significance of the study
  • Literature Review
    o Hypothesis/Hypotheses
    o Conceptual/Theoretical Framework
  • Research Methodology
    o Research Design
    o Population
    o Sampling
    o Instrument/Questionnaire (where applicable)
    o Statistical Techniques
  • Results and Findings
  • Conclusion, and Discussion
    o Conclusion
    o Discussion
    o Limitations
    o Recommendations
    o Direction for further study
  • References (APA style of referencing)
  • Annexure(s)- where applicable
