Effects of Career Plateau on employee’s behavior and ways to managing it (From literature review)

The paper presents the meta-analysis of over 100 studies conducted over last 35 years
which give insights into the review of the methodology and results of previous researches
on assessment of the effects of Career Plateau on employee’s behavior and effective
strategies of managing career plateau by the organisations. It covers the research articles,
manuals, abstracts and books accessed electronically or printed form focusing on the
variables under study. Qualitative as well as quantitative studies are considered. Findings
of the previous researches from 1977 till 2019 have been included in order to draw
conclusions about what are the effects of career plateau on employees and what are the
strategies used by the organizations to deal with them.
