job performance at elementary school. The study employed quantitative data technique to
undertake the investigation. Data were collected from 308 male and female elementary
school teachers of district Muzaffargarh employing simple random sampling technique.
Islamic Work Ethic were measured through a 17 items scale while job performance was
measured using a 23 items scale. The results of the study revealed a significant positive
relationship between IWE and job performance. It further depicted that IWE is strong
predictor of teachers’ job performance. However, the study showed no significant gender
based difference regarding the impact of IWE on job performance of elementary school
teachers. The study offered recommendations and directions for further research.
